I booked a room at the thistle hotel as a romantic getaway for my boyfriend and I. The hotel itself was welcoming and in a great location. I had booked a deluxe king size room but when we arrived we ended up in a double. We complained and got upgraded to a suite but the decor was GASTLY! We decided to go back to a double room and put up with a smaller bed in a more tasteful room. The supervisor was very helpful and patient with us! The bed was really comfortable although we didn't get much of a sleep in because we could hear the housekeeping in other rooms. Despite this the overall stay was great.
